Market day in Cholula

In the streets of Puebla

The jet lag past us (or so we’d like to think), we head to the Zocalo for a nice hot chocolate beside the square and the cathedral. We start by visiting the cathedral but there’s a service and we can’t really enjoy while the people at mass seem to hear...

The long trip from home to Puebla

Although we didn’t get all the sleep we wanted on the plane, we arrive ready to face the crowds at Mexico City airport. In fact, nothing as such, Mexico city aeropuerto turns out to be well organized and passing through immigration and the rest is a breeze....

Taking it easy

All good things come to an end… Today we fly home. We spent a wonderful time. The country is truly amazing… It’s Labour week-end, an important holiday in New Zealand, so there aren’t a lot of people on the road. At the airport, we rush in the duty free...
